Microsoft Approves StampIt® 4.0 as an 
Office Update for Word 97/2000.

             Los Angeles, CA, March 23, 2000: StampIt^Ò, the acclaimed document marking, identification, and tracking software, has been approved by Microsoft^Ò as an add-in for Microsoft Word 97/2000 and is available through the Microsoft Office Update site and many other popular download sites. StampIt 4.0 was tested and passed by 20/20 Labs, Inc., Microsoft's designated Office Update testing lab, based on the criteria set by Microsoft.

            StampIt sets the new standard for document marking, control and identification.  Among other features, it replaces rubber or self-inking stamps to mark and identify documents. StampIt embeds fully scalable hollow/outline, watermark, or solid words or phrases anywhere in a document (on the first, selected, or all pages) during printing to ensure document integrity and tracking without affecting readability. 

            StampIt can mark multiple copies of the same document, with different words or phrases embedded in each copy, all in one print session.  For example, StampIt can print and collate an unstamped original, a copy with FILE COPY, two copies with CLIENT COPY, and a CHRON FILE copy in one print session, thus eliminating inconvenient, time-wasting, and expensive trips to the copy machine. StampIt can also “sign” documents and make “stamps” out of virtually any windows-compatible graphic, like company logos, shields, emblems, etc.
